The position will provide overall support and assist in a variety of administrative functions for the HR Benefits team with focus on data entry and analytics under general supervision. This position is an 8 month temporary role.
Essential Job Functions include the following, but are not limited to:
- Provides administrative support to the HR Benefits team including but not limited to: organizing and maintaining files; meeting coordination and assembly of benefits information and meeting materials, and supports HR initiatives and projects.
- Participate in working groups and committees.
- Assists in onboarding process such as handling I-9 documents, ID badges and Benefits related inquires.
- Assists in the coordination and implementation of the Community Outreach Program and Wellness Program.
- Creates and conducts presentations using audiovisual tools, including PowerPoint and videos.
- Ensures filing is kept up to date and is done accurately including confidential information, in accordance with internal procedures and proper compliance practices.
- Updates and maintains relevant benefit information on company intranet site

Physical Activities: This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
Experience:
- 6 months - 2 years of experience in a similar position with Human Resources experience.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Human Resources computerized information systems and databases, preferably a relational database
- Must be expert in Excel and Microsoft Suite
- Highly motivated, results driven and able to work independently as well as with the team
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities within the department
- High commitment to customer service to internal and external clients
- Possess a high level of integrity; must always show good judgment and the strictest confidentiality
- Show high level of professionalism within the workplace
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively
- Clear and effective oral presentation of ideas/recommendations and effective written communication, using tact and courtesy
- Ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization as well as external contacts
Hourly rate for this position is $21.00 - $24.50 d.o.e.
