This role will be responsible for supporting a variety of human resources functions, including employee engagement, benefits, leave of absence, and company culture. Responsibilities
- Supports with leave of absence, accommodation requests, and worker’s compensation processing.
- Assists in administering and communicating WRMC employee benefit programs, including health and life insurance, retirement plans, company holidays, and paid time off.
- Processes benefit enrollments, changes, and coverage terminations.
- Serves as point of contact for employee inquiries and assists in resolving issues.
- Assists with the planning and execution of special events, such as open enrollment, employee recognition events, and holiday and birthday celebrations.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date personnel files, records, and documentation.
- Provides additional support to the HR Department.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
- Previous HR experience is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient in or has the ability to quickly learn HRIS and other HR-related applications.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively and provide exceptional employee support.
