Duties/Responsibilities:
HR:
- Coordinate interview scheduling with candidates and hiring managers across Sunlighten.
- Prepare and organize interview materials and rooms for candidates and hiring mangers.
- Communicate professionally with candidates via phone, text, email, and in person.
- Ensure timely completion of onboarding and pre-employment steps by communicating with candidates about offer acceptance, background and drug screenings, HR paperwork, and first-day preparation.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in Workable, our applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Conduct initial resume reviews or pre-screen candidates (as directed).
- Support the onboarding process by preparing welcome materials or coordinating first-day logistics (ordering nametags, cleaning desks, preparing goodie bags, checking ID’s).
- Follow up with candidates and hiring managers post-interview for feedback.
- Update Sharepoint pages for employee spotlight, birthdays, events, etc.
Building/Office:
- Assist with building access coordination and greet visitors and candidates warmly and ensure they feel welcome, providing tours to them as needed.
- Coordinate meeting room schedules and maintain shared space calendars.
- Manage kitchen and breakroom supplies; restock as needed.
- Handle incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Ensure office common areas are clean, organized, and presentable.
- Support planning events for internal meetings or employee gatherings.
- 1–2 years of experience in an administrative, HR, recruiting, or office support role.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor; customer service mindset.
- Tech-savvy; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and comfortable learning new tools like Workable or Paycor.
- Team-oriented but able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Starting pay at $18/HR with potential for higher compensation based on experience.
